With hamstring strains in athletics on the rise, and full recovery being critical to reduce susceptibility for re-injury, strengthening exercises which mimic the injury mechanism would likely be beneficial. Here is a novel activity which can be performed which helps strengthen the hamstrings in both the weightbearing and nonweightbearing stride position of sprinting.
