One of the more accesible, most important, yet markedly overlooked elements of health is breathing through our nose—all day, and all night. It has profound influence on our respiratory and digestive health, ideal function of our nervous system and stress management, sleep quality, performance and recovery, as well as other things. This podcast does a deep dive into further explanation, importance, review of some of the research, influences on our overall health, etc.
A presentation and discussion on internal dynamics of the human body and the influence it can have on how we function during the day or perform at higher levels.
Posture, and its varying perceptions on what it is, what it means, and the apparent importance it has on us, has a long and complicated history. It has been used to define, decide, judge, implement rules and laws and create varying methods to leverage it to ones interests. This webinar, while by no means exhaustive, discusses some of the important timelines and periods where “posture” was used in varying ways, most often with the best of intentions, but perhaps maybe with hidden agendas. Some self correction techniques are discussed here as well.
